To change things up a bit we are going to run a shuttle day, for Club members, on November 3rd that will focus on Miramar, Mt Victoria and possibly Portal depending on interest.

The day will start in Miramar and then go from there.

While this is a 'members only' event you can join the Club for a discounted $20 (usually $30) as part of the event sign up process.

Membership of course has its benefits, including helping ensure these events get put on, supporting trail building around the city (including Miramar, Mt Vic and Portal!) and of course giving you access to ride in Long Gully which is closed to non-Club members.

We will be limiting numbers on this event again so get in quick if you want to take part. In the event of severe weather leading up to the day or on the day the event will be rescheduled to another weekend.

Note: All participants must follow all road rules at all times and take full responsibility for the loading, securing and unloading of their bikes. The Wellington Mountain Bike Club accepts no responsibility for damage to or caused by bikes during this event.

Volunteers

We need volunteers to make this event happen, drivers for the vans in particular, but also help at registration, picking up vans and dropping them off etc. We will also need a couple of folks to help staff the BBQ in the afternoon. Beer can be supplied (if you are of age).

Registration starts at 9.30am

Please make sure you are at the top of Jail Brake (Miramar / Maupuia Water Towers) no later than 9:30am. Shuttles start rolling at 10am.

There are no on the day entry's - signing up here online and paying before the day (CC or deposit) is the only way.

Under 18? Your Parent/Guardian must sign waiver

If you are under 18, please make sure your parent/guardian does this before you board the shuttle. For more information, please read our Club Rules and Waiver

Finish time

End time is dependant on conditions, but we will try to go as long as is practical. The Events Manager will make the call on today, but we will be going till at least 3:30pm.

Cancellations and Refunds

If we are unable to run the event due to poor weather, then everyone who has registered will be offered a refund (less a $2 transaction fee) or given the option to transfer to the next shuttle day (no additional cost).
