Wainui Enduro : Enduro Series Round 2

Limited on the day entries at $40. Registration opens at 8:45 and on the day entries close at 9:00.


The second round of the Wellington Enduro Series will be held at the Wainuiomata Trail Project. A big thanks to our sponsors Yeastie Boys. 

All profits from this event will be donated to the Wainui Trail Project to go towards their trail building effort. 

This event will be a 2 run Enduro.
  1. Leg 1: Summit of Freewheel, Bee Line, Bee Line Extension, Pump Track. 
  2. Leg 2: Spoonhill, 491, Spoonhill, Nga Tuna, Wetland Loop to finish. 

Timetable

  • 8:45 am: Registration Opens - on the day entries
  • 9:00 am: On the day entries close
  • 9:15 am: Registration closes
  • 9:45 am: Riders Briefing
  • 10:30 am: Leg 1 ready to race
We expect to be all wrapped up and prizegiving done and dusted by 1:30ish. 

Race Information

  1. Race will be self seeding. We will give preference to those who have placed in previous rounds. 
  2. After top 20 seeds, Riders will go in pairs or small groups, with fastest first. (as per Miramar Enduro)
  3. Riders must be self supporting. That means tools, tubes etc. 
  4. If you come across an accident, you must stop and assist. Re runs will be offered to riders who come to the aid of other riders. 
  5. No shuttles. All riders must make it to the top of both courses under their own power.
Refunds & Cancellation Policy.
In the event that you are no longer able to attend (and notify us by the friday prior to the event) or the event is canceled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances – we are unable to provide refunds, so instead we will credit your WMTBC account. You can use the credit to pay for future events, WMTBC membership or as a donation to Wellington trails.

Event terms & conditions
1) I agree to wear a NZ Safety Standards approved helmet for the duration of any runs down the tracks.
2) I accept the risks inherent in mountain biking and will not hold the event organisers or landowner liable for any damages.
3) If you need to stop on a trail, pull to the side and ensure both you and your bike are well off the trail.
4) If you injure yourself or come across an injured rider, if it is serious, you or another rider must notify one of the van drivers immediately.
5) I agree to abide by all rules set out by the Wellington Mountain bike Club Inc.

NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age, you need your parent or guardian to sign/agree on your behalf.
