REGISTRATION IN THE MAKARA PEAK CARPARK
Pick up your timing chip from 7:30am-9:15am in the Makara Peak main carpark.
RIDER BRIEFING IN THE MAKARA PEAK CARPARK
Briefing is at 9:15am in the main carpark. This is mandatory for all riders. If you're not present at the briefing, we can't let you race. The race starts in the carpark shortly after briefing.
RACE FINISH AND PRIZEGIVING
The race finish is on the grass area outside Mud Cycles with cutoff at 12:30pm.
Prizegiving takes place 30 minutes after the race finish on the turf outside Mud Cycles. Strictly no bikes allowed on the turf.

RACE STAGES
You will have 3 hours to ride all tracks in your class (Intermediate or Advanced) in any order, after which a time penalty applies. You can also repeat any stages to improve your overall time, provided you can do so within the 3 hour limit. If you repeat a stage, your fastest recorded time will be counted.

WELLINGTON ENDURO SERIES POINTS
The Mākara Peak Enduro is part of the 2024 Wellington Enduro Series. Provided you're racing the Advanced Course, points from this race will contribute to your overall WES ranking.
PARKING
The Makara Peak carpark will be closed until approximately 9:45am when all riders have left the race start. This is to keep everyone safe during registration and rider briefing.
During this time, the overflow carpark will be open. If parking in surrounding Karori, please be courteous to the residents. Preferably ride to the event or carpool if possible.

- General Entry – Non-member – $60
- Under 13s – $25
The WMTBC has a reciprocal arrangement with the MMBC, PNP and Revolve clubs, allowing discounted entry to this race if you are a member. Contact your club administration for the entry code.

If the event sells out in advance, there will be no on the day entries. This has happened in most years, so book in advance!
INCLEMENT WEATHER
In the event of conditions that pose an unnecessary risk to competitors, the organisers will make a decision whether or not to run the event on the day advertised, and best efforts will be made to notify registrants as early as possible.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy
In the event that you are no longer able to attend (and notify us by Friday 1 December 9am) or the event is cancelled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances—we are unable to provide refunds, so instead we will credit your WMTBC account. You can use the credit to pay for future events, WMTBC membership or as a donation to Wellington trails.

NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age, you need your parent or guardian to sign/agree on your behalf.

I agree to wear a NZ Safety Standards approved helmet for the duration of any runs down the tracks.

I accept the risks inherent in mountain biking and will not hold the event organisers or landowner liable for any damages.

I am personally responsible for ensuring my bike is securely on the shuttle transport (if part of this event) and will not hold the Wellington Mountain Bike Club Inc liable to any damage.

If you need to stop on a trail, pull to the side and ensure both you and your bike are well off the trail.

You may injure yourself or come across an injured rider, if it is serious, someone should remain stationary with the injured rider and then the next rider must notify a marshal as soon as possible.

I agree to a fee of $100 in the event that the race timing token allocated to me is not returned to WMTBC at the end of the event
