WELCOME TO THE MT VIC ENDURO '24 BROUGHT TO YOU BY GET LOST CYCLING
They say that the third time is a charm and we're confident that the 2024 Mt Vic Enduro will be the best one yet! Following the success of our inaugural event in 2021 and the subsequent slide-fest in 2023, we're back with a bang to bring you the best of Mt Victoria's renowned trails. Nestled in the heart of Wellington, Matairangi awaits, offering diverse terrain that caters to riders of all levels, from berms and jumps through to roots and chutes.
Join us on the 9th of March for a sampling of Wellington's finest central city riding. Our course will challenge your skills and keep you on your toes with timed 5 stages that showcase the hill at it's very best. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the scene, the Mt Vic Enduro promises an fun atmosphere, great prizes and an unforgettable experience.

RACE DATE : March 9th (March 10th as backup rain-delayed day)
COURSE INFORMATION
4 race stages, + 1 non-mandatory bonus round
The compulsory stages will be a mixture of Hippy’s, V, A, TTS, Super D, Park Bench, Rock drop & Groms. If you manage to take the W at the bonus round, you will be crowned the unofficial King/Queen of Matairangi.
You will have four hours to complete all stages. No shuttles, no hand-ups, walking optional.
Stages can be done in any order, and may be repeated up to three times if you think you can improve your time - the fastest run will be taken. You must be back before cut-off time.
Bonus:
At the race village there will be some small challenges to keep everyone entertained between stages, while taking a break or once you are cooked. There will be prizes involved to keep things competitive.

WELLINGTON ENDURO SERIES
This is the sixth race in the 2024 Wellington Enduro Series. If you're racing the hard course, points from this race will contribute to your overall WES ranking.
ON-THE-DAY PRICES $50
There may be limited on the day entries. Registering online is highly recommended to speed things up on the day and save a few dollars on registration.

REGISTRATION
Registration on the day will be held at the race village at Charles Plimmer Park (at the top of Marjoribanks Street on Matairangi Mt Victoria
Important note: If you are under 18 years of age you must have your parent or guardian to sign/agree on your behalf.
RACE BRIEFING
All competitors must attend their race briefing or they will not be permitted to take a race run.
PARKING
If possible, please ride to the event. However if you do drive, remember that there is limited parking parking on the lower reaches of Matairangi, but plenty available on Alexandra road, which is only a short ride up the hill from the event village.in the Waiu carpark, but ample on Waiu Street.

Refunds & Cancellation Policy
In the event that you are no longer able to attend (and notify us by the Friday prior to the event) or the event is canceled due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances – we are unable to provide refunds, so instead we will credit your WMTBC account. You can use the credit to pay for future events, WMTBC membership or as a donation to Wellington trails.

NOTE: If you are under 18 years of age, you need your parent or guardian to sign/agree on your behalf.
- I agree to wear a NZ Safety Standards approved helmet for the duration of any runs down the tracks.
- I accept the risks inherent in mountain biking and will not hold the event organisers or landowner liable for any damages.
- I am personally responsible for ensuring my bike is securely on the shuttle transport (if part of this event) and will not hold the Wellington Mountain Bike Club Inc liable to any damage.
- If you need to stop on a trail, pull to the side and ensure both you and your bike are well off the trail.
- You may injure yourself or come across an injured rider, if it is serious, someone should remain stationary with the injured rider and then the next rider must notify a marshal as soon as possible.
- I agree to abide by all rules set out by the Wellington Mountain bike Club Inc.
- I agree to a fee of $75 in the event that the race timing token allocated to me is not returned to WMTBC at the end of the event.
