THE WELLINGTON MOUNTAIN BIKE CLUB WELCOME'S THE WAINUI ENDURO BACK TO THE WELLINGTON ENDURO SERIES.
The Wainui Trail Project has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, with redevelopment of a classic grade 4 trail (with the best views over the harbour), and an amazing range of new grade 5 trails.
So we're stoked to welcome riders back to the 2026 Wainui Enduro, which will be a round of the NZ Enduro Series.
Hand-built by locals over the past 15 years, Wainui has a mixture of fast, sinuous trails set amongst regenerating native bush, amazing views over the harbour, and just the right mixture of beech roots and speed. Now including some of the new trails (weather permitting).
RACE DATE : February 22nd (course open February 21st for practice)
THE COURSE
Course to be announced in the coming weeks. There will be two courses - a Hard Course (counts towards Wellington Enduro Series standings and NZ Enduro Series points), and an Intermediate Course, which will have a selection of easier trails.
For more information on the Wainuiomata Trails, visit Trailforks.
